Jesus showed that He was divine – connected to God or having God's power – through the miracles He performed. The word divine means having the power of God because Jesus is the Son of God. These miracles, like raising people from the dead, calming storms, and healing the sick, showed that Jesus had authority over things like nature, life, and death, things that only God could control.

However, Jesus did not use His own divine power to perform these miracles. Instead, He relied on the power of the Father and the Holy Spirit. Even though He was divine, Jesus lived as a human being, trusting fully in God. This teaches us that we, too, can trust God for help in our lives.

Therefore, while His miracles showed that Jesus was divine, they also showed His complete dependence on God. This provides us with an example of how we can live by trusting in God’s power and guidance.
