Quit Talking and Start Doing Something!

Imagine there was a village with a dangerous swamp, and people kept falling into it and getting hurt. Instead of helping, the villagers just talked and talked about the problem. They had meetings, wrote papers, and even built a special room to talk in without being disturbed by the cries for help. But nothing changed.

Now, our church and Sabbath School class don’t want to be like those villagers. We love talking and learning together, but we also want to do something to help people in our communities and around the world. This study guide will help us learn from Bible stories and find ways to make a real difference. Each week, we’ll get a challenge to actually do something to help others. We’ll start with easy challenges and gradually do more as we go. We’ll pray for guidance and share our experiences with the group. Our goal is to remember this time as when the Holy Spirit helped us make a big impact and bring glory to God’s name.
